In trading or in life what works for me may not work for you and vice versa; what works for you may not work for me. In short it’s personal .
When I was planning a trade in Yes Bank 2 weeks before my SL was bit on a higher side at 12% while on an average trade my SL ranges between 7-8%. On paper 4% may not be much but when we are deploying our hard earned money in any particular trade even a percentage makes a huge difference. On any normal trade I tend to ignore any trade with high risk than my capacity to take it.
But why I’m writing it here is because I want to answer a question which is – Why this particular trade? And the answer lies in the eyes of beholder.
Usually I’m in my comfort zone if I enter in any trade at the right time and right place. And from where I’ve entered in this trade even the smallest of the target for me is more than double from here. So basically, I mean to say is if I’m willing to give 12% I am actually aiming for more than 100% and that’s the lesson market taught me. I’ve learnt that that there’s no formula for success in market & I’ve also learnt that there’s a formula which works in the market and that is to keep my risk low and reward high.
Lastly, like all my blogs I would like to end this with a lesson. The lesson here is to keep doing the same thing repeatedly in the market. There’s no rocket science here & only those who know less win in the end. And if end is well all is well.
